Demo Reel

Here is my current Cinematography Reel, featuring my work in different genres, including Sports Documentaries, Mini-Documentaries, News films, and Short films.

Music in Transit

Music in Transit is a music video series based in Indianapolis Indiana. It is in partnership with the IndyGo bus system, Total Fun Productions, Square Cat Vinal, and Cheerce. The videos take artists from all around Indiana and the Midwest area and have them perform on a bus provided by IndyGo buses to both promote local artists and the IndyGo bus system. I had the honor of being crew on seasons 5 and 6 of the series. In season 5 I was a camera operator and in season 6 I was a camera operator and photographer.

Match Point 2.0

Match Point 2.0 is the second Documentary to follow the world of men's volleyball at the college level. In partnership with USA Volleyball & First Point Foundation, this documentary was one of my first full-length documentary experiences, gaining me experience with videography, editing, and assistant directing. In addition to the full-length documentary, I shot and edited the trailer to the right, which dropped as the Second Official Trailer for the documentary. You can watch the full documentary on YouTube and on the USA Volleyball Website.

Match Point 2.0 received an Emmy Nomination for Diversity/Equity/Inclusion category at the 2023 Central Great Lakes Emmys and also the Award of Excellence at the 2023 BEA Festival of Media Arts.

Mental Health in Media Professions

This video is one near and dear to my heart. In my last semester of college, I set out to make my mini-documentary, and with the help of Byte, I was able to Produce, Direct, DP, and feature on this documentary about Mental Health in the Media and Artistic professions. I interviewed a teacher and student from the Media, Animation, and Theatre departments at Ball State University to see multiple perspectives on their industries and their futures.

Stick Together

Stick Together was a short film that came together out of minimal spare time and the want to make something. After working with Paige Osborne on Caught in the Crossfires, I was eager to work with her again when she approached me about a short film she had written and wanted to bring to life. In just under a month, we were able to assemble a crew and cast, and schedule shoots so we would wrap right before Christmas. Once again I got to Assistant Direct, honing those skills even more, and once again stretched my audio muscles for field audio work.

Caught in the Crossfires

Caught in the Crossfire was my senior short film in college for my Fall 2021 semester. This film felt like a culmination of everything I had been learning in class, in clubs, and doing freelance work. This was my first opportunity to fully Produce and AD a production from start to finish over the course of 4 months, and it put my Field Audio skills to the test.

The Last Supper

The Last Supper was the first short film that I co-wrote and DP'd in 2021. As the Director of Photography, I was teetering on a ladder with our camera, getting our third or fourth take of a wine throw, when the magic moment happened. Afterward, my Executive Producer, would look at me and say, "That was the moment where it felt like we were making cinema, not just a film"; and I've been chasing that feeling ever since

The Reel Deal

The Reel Deal is Ball State's Premier Entertainment News Show and an organization that will always be near and dear to my heart. While I did not focus on news during my time in college, The Reel Deal gave me a chance to live and thrive in a newsroom setting. With a strict schedule, a main news show, two podcasts, social media and a website, maintaining and improving it all was my proudest achievement in my time going from crew all the way to it's Executive Producer

Indiana Outdoors

Indiana Outdoors is a nature documentary organization that I was able to help grow back into itself during and post-pandemic. When I first joined this organization in 2018 I started as crew, getting my hands on camera and audio equipment and traveling for shoot days across Indiana. Then I worked my way up to Associate and eventually Executive Producer from 2021-22. Watching this organization grow and gain traction, and lending my knowledge and passion to the next generations, was truly a rewarding experience for me.

NPPA & Shoot for Good

NPPA was an organization I joined later in my college career when I decided to pursue Photojournalism along with my media degree. Being Vice President of our chapter was an exciting opportunity to grow both my photo and video skills, while also sharing those same skills with others. One perfect example of this culmination was my participation in Shoot for Good, as the Director and Videographer for the promo video, as well as a photographer in the field.
